BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Jeffrey S. Morton is Professor of World Politics at Florida Atlantic University and a Fellow at the Foreign Policy Association in New York City. He received his Masterís degree from Rutgers University and his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. The author of three books and numerous journal articles, Professor Morton received the FAU Researcher of the Year Award and Master Teacher designation. In 2012, Dr. Morton was awarded the prestigious Foreign Policy Association Medal, an honor bestowed to leading academics and foreign policy makers. Professor Morton has been cited in articles that have appeared in the Wall Street Journal and New York Times.

Jeffrey Morton is a faculty member in the Department of Political Science and is Director of the Leon Charney Diplomacy Program.

Country destination profiles and analysis. Dr. Morton's presentations focus on the geopolitical, economic and strategic importance of countries whose ports of call are included in cruise ship itineraries. His lectures provide general overviews of the country, its importance historically, its relationship to the United States, challenges and opportunities that it faces.

Additionally, professor Morton delivers lectures on important themes in world politics. These lectures focus on, among others:
