Dr. Kenneth Carter is a professor of psychology at Emory University and author of Buzz!: Inside the Minds of Thrill-Seekers, Daredevils, and Adrenaline Junkies. Dr. Carter enjoys translating psychology into everyday language. His articles have been published in magazines like Psychology Today, and he has appeared on programs such as NPR’s: ShortWave, and NBC’s Today show. Dr. Carter was the host of Mind of a Motorhead, an NBCSports web series that examined the personalities of motorsport athletes. When not teaching, speaking, or writing, Dr. Carter prefers reading and relaxing on the beach to wingsuit flying or BASE jumping.
