David Williams has spent a working-lifetime in London as a sports journalist, magazine editor. then documentary film-maker. Now he is a registered City of London Guide and Lecturer who has 17 years experience as a speaker including the past 5 years on cruise ships. He can share a wealth of stories with audiences about London and its history, traditions, culture and historical figures. All his talks are supported by PowerPoint. presentations

He has a BA (History) degree awarded by London University and an MA (sport history and culture) and a second MA (Heritage studies). , David has travelled extensively on assignments to the Artic Circle, Falkland Islands, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, the Far East, the Mediterranean, the Baltic States, Scandinavia and several other countries in Europe.

He has been a speaker for CMV (Cruise and Maritime), Fred Olsen Cruises, Ambassador Cruise Lines and Celebrity Cruises.
