Estelle Grengs is an award winning professional artist living on the beautiful Emerald Coast of Fl. Over her 30 plus career in fine arts she has molded a unique and whimsical style. She has won numerous art accolades as well as published on several magazine covers. Her art can also be found in Walmart, Target, Wayfair and other galleries/stores.

Estelle owns her own gallery where she curates for emerging artists and teaches several forms of art in her studio. Her enthusiasm when teaching builds a creative confidence in her students who return faithfully for her classes. Although she prefers impasto style acrylics, she teaches young and old in watercolors, oils, mixed media, ink and pastel.

Acrylic Canvas Painting
Clients will explore the versatility that acrylic painting provides as they work on a tropical masterpiece. The subject of the painting will correlate with one of the ports visited during the cruise.

Abstract Art
Cruise goers will experience a fun intuitive painting while learning a few basics of creating abstract art. They will learn color theory and how to make their paintings represent their own style and feelings.

Mixed Media
Participants will be guided through a mixed media art process. They will get to use scraps of papers, glue, paints, string and other items to explore their inner artist. Fun art not fine art will be stressed in this messy but fun process!

Intro to Watercolor
Participants will get to dabble in watercolor paints and create a fun design (design depends on ports) using several techniques such as salt, masking fluid and rubbing alcohol.

Resin Art
Cruisegoers will create a nautical piece of art using paint, glass shards and wood. They will learn the resin technique to seal their art. Resin curing takes a minimum of 24hours.

Acrylic pouring
In this class participants will explore the fun unpredictable designs through acrylic pouring. They will choose their colors, be shown how to mix the medium and lastly do a dirty pour.

Palette knife Art
Participants will learn how to use a palette knife to create 3D Artwork that jumps off the canvas. Easy enough for all to try yet challenging enough for skilled artists to join.
