Lucy achieved her Master photographer qualification in 1993, and is an accomplished cruise lecturer having worked for numerous cruise lines since 2002.

She presents her lectures in a vibrant fun style, not reading from a script. Making use of the comedic side to her personality and performing arts training, she encourages audience participation. She is easy on the ears, and makes learning fun, bringing a breath of fresh air to the stage.

Lecturing to audiences large or small, Lucy is in her element sharing her 45 years of experience behind the camera along with her anecdotes of her extensive travels around the globe photographing for news articles. She also enjoys holding seminars and camera clinics, specialising in all aspects of photography from the basics of editing shots to audiovisual presentations, so that guests can produce their own masterpieces.

As an additional attraction on certain cruises, Lucy has spearheaded specific special-interest themed cruises. These include, Fred. Olsen’s award-winning onboard enrichment programme, ‘Vistas’. Working 14 years on ships, she feels this is her forte.
