Johanna Grove is a recognised British Destination Expert and travel presenter, with more than 16 years’ experience working on board cruise ships and in the cruise industry.

She trained as a presenter at the BBC, moved to BSkyB, and then took a three month career break to climb Mount Everest. This sparked a passion for world travel and she never looked back to the broadcast industry.

She joined P&O Cruises in 2007 as a Port Presenter and worked both onboard and ashore (assisting with the set up of several new ships). She was the lead presenter of a P&O Cruises Shore Excursion promotional video and featured in more than 50 ‘on location’ excursion marketing films.

Johanna returned to dry land after being headhunted by a new cruise tour company. She accepted a role of Brand and Content manager and was responsible for the creation, production, direction and presentation of all marketing material, TV adverts and company promotional videos.

In 2017, Johanna joined Princess Cruises as a regular destination expert and revisited her love for the sea.

Throughout her career, she has appeared on several Cruise TV channels as a destination expert and has recently filmed a pilot for a new cruise and travel show called ‘passport’.

She has sailed on six full World Voyages, has specialised in all the world's main cruising regions and still has a great passion for exploring the world.

Having joined countless tours ashore in every port of call that she’s visited, Johanna can offer personal experiences, expertise and an infectious love of exploring that can help guests to plan their perfect vacation.

She has a confident and informative presentation style, is friendly and positive and is certain to encourage guests to be just as excited about the destinations as she is.

All of her presentations are updated to be cruise and date specific, photographs are all of a professional standard, and cultural tips and travel advice are always up to date.

She is educated to degree level, owns a property rental business, has a strict eye for detail and is proud to receive continuous outstanding passenger feedback and scores.
