BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Caroline Malloy is a Freelance Scholar based in Chicago, IL. She earned her Ph.D. in Art History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has taught Humanities and History at universities across the US. Professional highlights include working an archaeological dig in Southern Italy and reviving the Latin language at an independent Academy in Philadelphia. 

Dr. Malloy has been invited to deliver talks on Empires, Arts, and Heritage Projects throughout the US and Europe. A specialist in the visual culture of Empires, stretching from Ancient Rome and the British Empire, she is interested in how we interact with objects and spaces from the Past in our modern life.

When not lecturing, Dr. Malloy is a freelance writer, editor, and educator, working with schools and small businesses in Chicago and beyond. She is also a certified fitness instructor, an avowed "foodie," and an enthusiastic road-tripper. She and her husband have driven across most of the US and Canada, including favorites, Route 66 and the PCH.
