Bob Ray’s career is quite the ride: a producer on The Dating Game TV show at age 17, a rock ‘n’ roll radio DJ across America over twenty-five years, a 2019 inductee into The Radio Hall of Fame in California, a TV/stage actor, and an award-winning ad man.

Listening to his dad’s Zenith radio playing 1959 rock ‘n’ roll proved the inspiration for his life, especially the radio DJ: the center of attention. Bob’s accolades earned while covering 1968’s Robert Kennedy tragedy in Los Angeles opened the doors to nearly three decades on-the-air in rock ‘n’ roll radio. Offered a position in Los Angeles broadcasting radio news as a result of his stellar coverage over 15+ hours that evening, Bob’s immediate response was, “Thank you very much for the opportunity but I was born to rock ‘n roll!”

He knows the music, is very passionate about all of it, and shares a matrix of songs, artists, and backstories with audiences around the world in his unique and memorable multi-media presentations.
