BIOGRAPHY
Stanley Forman is a retired engineer and university lecturer. He graduated from Northeastern University, Boston, with a BS in Electrical Engineering and went on to receive an MS in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and an MBA from Boston University. He first worked at Bell Labs in Holmdel, NJ and then spent the bulk of his career at Teradyne, Inc. in Boston, MA, an electronic test equipment manufacturer. Stanley participated in all aspects of the business from design to manufacturing to supply chain management for over 30 years.

Upon retiring from Teradyne, he developed an ‘encore career’ as a university lecturer, returning to Northeastern University. He specialized in teaching freshman engineering courses, which included engineering history and design methodology as well as first year computing. Stanley received high marks from his students as both a knowledgeable and engaging speaker.

After 10 years teaching, Stanley retired (again!) and now spends time with family in Maine, cruising to see the world and driving his antique Buick. He is interested in the history of technology and, with his background in engineering, is able to simplify the technology for us all and weave-in the human interest stories underlying all great achievements.

CRUISE HISTORY / EXPERIENCE
I have not worked onboard as yet. I have been a University lecturer for 10 years and have high-excellent reviews from students. I understand how best to craft a story containing human interest as well as history of technology key events.
