Prof. Samuel M. Edelman, Ph.D., is an eclectic scholar of communications studies, Jewish Studies, and a global affairs specialist with more than 50 years of experience in both the university and in the practical world. Edelman has been a consultant and advisor to the Israeli Foreign Ministry Training Division, the Jewish Agency for Israel’s Education Division, the Executive Director of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East, Head of Faculty Affairs for the Israel on Campus Coalition, Dean at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, co-director of the State of California Center for the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide, Human Rights and Tolerance and professor emeritus at the California State University Chico. Edelman is an academic fellow and an adjunct professor of Israel Studies and Zionism at the University of Miami, and a lecturer at Florida Atlantic University Lifelong Learning Society. Edelman has traveled to more than 40 countries. He brings to his lectures a mix of global-international affairs, politics, culture, archaeology, history, religion and intercultural studies and communication.
