David makes modern technology interesting, relevant, and enjoyable for non-techies.
After 40 years of experience at the deep end, solving problems for large tech companies, nowadays David demystifies modern techie stuff. He shows how to avoid scams and stay safe online, how to stay connected without huge bills when we travel, and even how to create strong and memorable passwords. He simplifies complex and mysterious topics such as AI, and he even digs into history to show how the techie heroes of history brought us today’s smartphone.
David uses an entertaining blend of multimedia, information, and real-life examples and stories, to help us confidently, safely, and easily navigate everyday modern techie stuff. It’s technology made easy and relevant for non-techies.

So I jumped at the opportunity to combine cruising with my love of simplifying technology, delivering lectures to make modern technology interesting, fun, practical and applicable to everyday life, and seeing people enjoying and using technology that they never thought they could. I've done talks on Saga, P&O, Marella and Fred Olsen cruise ships.
