Michael Crowe is originally from England and a Veteran of the Royal Air Force. He has Lectured on Ancient History of the Greeks Romans & Mesopotamia In Europe and other interesting Maritime and other popular Ports of call around the world including Caribbean South Africa & South America. He has sailed on both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans on the QE2, Love Boats and SS Norway.

He shares his interactive programs on ships throughout the Great Lakes, America’s Rivers, Cuba ,the Caribbean and has sailed extensively throughout the Mediterranean Sea. Michael brings a wealth of personal stories, experiences and insightful knowledge to share with your guests.

In 2016 he was invited to Cuba to become a Consultant working alongside the Government Tourism Group to tour the Island observe and promote its diverse Arts & Cultural Programs, for future growth & expansion.

He has sailed on over 35 Cruise Ships and River Boats worldwide. visiting 91 countries, most recently sailing from the Great Lakes on a cruise down through the Panama Canal to Peru Ecuador & Chile to Antarctica as well as circumnavigating fascinating Cuba. In 2023 as a Lecturer and Historian aboard Viking Expedition ships.

Michael shares talks on the History & Ecology of the Lakes, its Indigenous Tribes, famous Shipwrecks, Real Pirates, Breathtaking Vistas and unusual points of interest about the Ports of Call. These include Toronto, Niagara Falls, Cleveland, Detroit, Windsor, Midland, Parry Sound Sault Ste Marie, The Soo Locks, Manitoulin Island, Mackinac Island, Muskegon, Milwaukee, Chicago ,Duluth, Thunder Bay and Marquette. Prior to this he was in China where he sailed from modern Shanghai 1500 miles up the mighty Yangtze River on Ships for one year visiting the Magnificent 3 Gorges Dam the majestic Holy mountains monuments and historic UNESCO sites of Ancient China!

When ashore Michael lives in Huntington Beach, on the Pacific Ocean in California, His activities there include Photography Writing Golf.
