She retired from her role as Professor of Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology at Cranfield University and now undertakes consultancy work for governments. She has authored several academic books, appeared in numerous TV and radio documentaries. Her very popular lectures deal with archaeology & anthropology and the history of disease.

In 2018 he starred in BBC1’s highly acclaimed 10 part, death penalty documentary series “Murder, mystery and my family”. He regularly features on national radio and lectures and speaks worldwide on fair trial, human rights and criminal justice.
