Dr Armida Bordi, a former professor of literature and the history of civilisations, lives in Genoa, Italy. After gaining 2 degrees from Genoa University she was the recipient of several British Council grants to British universities and a three time Fulbright scholar to the US. She is now teaching lifelong learning programs offering adult learners courses combining history and art with foreign languages. As a long-time lecturer for many cruise lines, Armida has travelled extensively in different continents. She likes exploring new places and she can communicate in Italian, English, Spanish, French, Greek and Portuguese.

After 20 years as a police officer and fraud investigator, Chris returned to study to gain a BA(Hons), MA and PhD in archaeology from the Australian National University (ANU). He later spent time as a tutor at the ANU and lectured at both the ANU and University of Sydney Centres for Continuing Education. Working for his himself as well as contracting to other tour companies, he has designed and led study tours both internationally and within Australia for over 25 years. When not leading tours, Chris works as an archaeological consultant and heritage advisor.

As a member of the Guild of Battlefield Tour Guides, John assists the War Research Society with the Centenary Commemorative Tours in Belgium and France. Robert (�Bob�) Donaldson retired after 45 years of College teaching in Political Science, specializing on Russian and American Foreign Policy and World Politics. At the University of Tulsa, where he was President in the 1990s, he was chosen �Faculty Member of the Year� in 2013. Dr. Donaldson has three degrees from Harvard and is author or co-author of 6 books and two dozen articles and book chapters. In addition to teaching at 4 universities, he has spoken to Foreign Relations Committees in 25 cities has lectured for the U.S. State Department in Europe and the Indian Sub-continent.

Professor Julian Dowdeswell is recently retired professor of Physical Geography and Director of the Scott Polar Research Institute in the University of Cambridge. In a career of over 40 years he has taught in the universities of Aberystwyth, Bristol and Cambridge. He has written more than 400 scientific papers and 11 books. Since retirement, Julian, and his wife Evelyn, have travelled on cruise ships in both polar regions, the Mediterranean, Norway and US/Canadian waters giving guest lectures on a wide variety of environmental science topics, and, in the Arctic and Antarctic, on glaciers and ice sheets, polar exploration and polar art.

Born in London, with an early childhood in Australia, Dr Eyers studied geology and achieved her doctorate with the Department of Earth Sciences, Open University in 1992. Since that time she has lectured for several universities including Reading, Luton and the Open University as well as contributing to the Oxford University summer school programme each year. Her geological career has taken her to many parts of the world including the Caribbean, Brazil and Turkey which she finds particularly exciting. Jill presents an extensive series of talks on Geology and Archaeology.

Emily Bozeman Mixon has been involved in Arts and Crafts for over 40 years. She attended many crafts shows as a participant for over 15 years traveling from Tennessee to as far away as Michigan to sell her wares. 		Jonathan H. Ward, FRAS Astronomy & Space Exploration

Jonathan H. Ward is an astronomer, author, speaker, and space historian. Jonathan�s joy of bringing the space program to life for the public began in high school, when he served as a tour guide at the Smithsonian�s National Air and Space Museum during the Apollo era.
